Alexandra's House
Welcome to Alexandra's House PDF Print E-mail

Life is full of uncertainty. Conception and death are the only things of which we are assured in our time on Earth. If the life expectancy of your unborn, newborn baby, infant or toddler is limited, our perinatal hospice has the resources necessary to bring comfort to both family and child.

Alexandra's House also provides safe and loving refuge for abandoned newborns and abused or neglected infants, whether otherwise healthy or medically fragile.

We are ready to serve you and your baby at any time through your pregnancy or anytime afterwards.

Free residential care is available through our perinatal hospice services in a peaceful, healing, and love-filled environment.

We do not pretend to have all the answers but we have hearts for loving, ears for listening, arms for holding, and tears to share as we walk this journey with you. You will not be alone; Alexandra's House was called into being just for you.

Our Mission Statement

“To give glory and honor to God and consolation to the wounded Heart of Jesus by loving and serving the most vulnerable among us, our sick and dying babies and their families; to promote by word and example the truths of the gospel of life, and to love and be merciful.”

Dedication PDF Print E-mail

This image is from a painting by Lorenzo Lotto entitled “Adoration of the Shepherds” (circa 1534). This painting calls to mind the suffering Christ ultimately would endure. He asks us to share in His cross in a very unique way through the bittersweet embrace of our terminally ill unborn and newborn babies. St. Thomas Aquinas spoke of the Holy Innocents saying “They proclaim Christ not in their speaking but in their dying”.

Our website was made possible through blessed Chase Hutton Ware’s memorial fund along with his beloved Mommy and Daddy, Briday and David. It is dedicated to all our precious babies, from whom we learn so much, to their families, who have loved so heroically, and to the Great Lamb of God, Who loves His sacrificial Lambs so tenderly.

If you or anyone you know are in need of our services please contact us. In addition to providing many levels of support, Alexandra's House is designed to offer housing to families and their babies throughout this challenging but special experience. It is our honor to be able to serve you.

Thank you.
