A Charitable Perinatal Hospice House and Infant Refuge

Parents who do continue their pregnancies need love, support, encouragement, and a place to come that offers help no one else can give. Science may hold no answers for them. Most often families lovingly embrace their dying babies. However, some may feel unequipped to do so. They have and will ask Alexandra's House to assume the care and burial of their baby, to which we say a resounding “yes”.

Who will be there to love and serve these many suffering people day, night, or anytime? Alexandra’s House, its full time live in staff, and amazing volunteers will be, and feel it is a great honor and privilege to do so.

Alexandra’s House, as a charitable perinatal hospice home, does not accept any form of payment from the family. Part of the reason we can do this is that the community members live on a small monthly stipend and all others volunteer their services; thus the bulk of our contributions go to direct services. We trust that if we faithfully serve Jesus through His dying babies, He will provide what we need. Though most of these babies will die, they will receive the love and dignity to which they are entitled and families receive the care and support they deserve.

Alexandra's House provides supportive, not medical, care. If babies were to need specialized care, licensed organizations would be contracted, services performed at Alexandra's House, and paid for by the family’s medical provider.
